Radiocommunications Approved Test Facilities Notice 1993 Pursuant to regulation 41 of the Radiocommunications (Radio) Regulations 1993, and acting under delegated authority from the Secretary of Commerce, I hereby give the following notice: N o t i c e 1. Title and commencement (1) This notice may be cited as the Radiocommunications Approved Test Facilities Notice 1993. (2) This notice shall come into force on the day after its publication in the Gazette. 2. Interpretation In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires, ``Non-radio standard'' means (a) A joint standard under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding between Standards Australia and the Standards Association of New Zealand; or (b) A standard published by the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization; or (c) A code published by the Federal Communications Commission in the United States of America; or (d) A standard issued by CISPR. ``Radio standard'' means a standard prescribed by the Secretary of Commerce. 3. Approved testing facilities, and conditions of approval The test facilities approved for the purposes of testing interfering equipment and providing test reports and the conditions and restrictions of approval are set out in the Schedule to this notice. The facilities are approved by the Secretary for the purposes of testing interfering equipment and providing test reports. The notice comes into force the day after its publication in the Gazette.
