Declaring State Highway to be Limited Access Road State Highway 1: Ashburton It is noted that Transit New Zealand by resolution dated 6 October 1993 and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares those parts of State Highway No. 1 at Ashburton from Racecourse Road (RP 416/12.09) to the intersection of Havelock Street (RS 430) on the eastern side of the highway and from the southern abutment of the Ashburton River Bridge (RP 430/1.30) to a point 200 m south of Hassal Street (RP 430/3.70) on the western side of the highway, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 and 2 of plan TNZ CH/46 and accompanying schedules held in the office of the Regional Manager Transit New Zealand Christchurch and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.
