Notice of Direction For the Disposition of the Surplus Asset of a Dissolved Incorporated Society

Take notice that the Registrar of Incorporated Societies has directed that consequent on the dissolution on 23 February 2015 of the above-named incorporated society, its surplus asset, being approximately $111,948.24 held in a Kiwibank bank account in the name of the Turangi Pony Club, be vested in the NEW ZEALAND PONY CLUBS ASSOCIATION (INCORPORATED) (227283) who shall distribute the funds as follows:

1. $15,000.00 to Oruanui Branch Pony Club Incorporated (1467423); and
2. $15,000.00 to Tauhara Branch Pony Club Incorporated (1295716); and
3. $15,000.00 to Taupo and District Pony Club Incorporated (212887); and
4. $15,000.00 to Bay of Plenty Area Pony Club Incorporated (1722097); and
5. $10,000.00 to be held by Taupo and District Pony Club Incorporated (212887) to offer financial assistance to any riders living in Turangi who wish to join either Oruanui Branch Pony Club Incorporated (1467423) and Tauhara Branch Pony Club Incorporated (1295716) to cover fifty percent (50%) of membership fees and travel assistance; and
6. $25,000.00 to the Turangi Branch of the New Zealand Mounted Games Association Incorporated (1218888); and
7. the remaining funds of $16,948.24 to be distributed to the following organisations in equal amounts:
• $3388.00 to Turangi Blue Light; and
• $3380.00 to Turangi Jujitsu; and
• $3380.00 to Turangi Junior Horse Sports; and
• $3380.00 to Turangi Junior Squash; and
• $3380.00 to Turangi Council for repairs to the horse yards at Turangitukua Park.

This direction shall become final on 26 April 2024. No appeal shall lie unless notice thereof is delivered before that date.
