Pursuant to section 87J(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 31 July 2023, I give notice that, having received an application from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport intends to consider varying the Scheduled International Air Service Licence held by that airline in order to:

• permit code sharing to New Delhi with an airline of a third country; and
• remove capacity restrictions that were incorporated into the airline’s licence in response to COVID-19.

Any person wishing to make representations to the Minister of Transport relating to this application must forward those representations in writing to reach me at the Ministry of Transport, PO Box 3175, Wellington, on or before 27 October 2023.
