Notice of Approval of a Charitable Scheme Under Part 3 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, in Respect H & R Trust Fund (“Trust”)

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 54 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 (“Act”), that on 13 March 2023, the Honourable Justice Dunningham, at the Christchurch High Court, approved the scheme under Part 3 of the Act, to amend the terms of the trust deed to allow the Trustees to:

• Transfer the surplus of the Trust Fund to the Fillies McIndoe Research Institute (“Gillies Institute”); and
• Wind up the Trust, once the surplus of the Trust Fund has been transferred to the Gillies Institute.
