Gazette.govt.nzPursuant to sections 19, 23, and 21(2) of the New Zealand Geographic Board (Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Act 2008 (“Act”), the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (“Board”) gives notice of its final determination to alter the local authority district name described in the Schedule below.
The Board’s final determination on this local authority district name will take effect on 17 January 2020, being the date that the Order in Council, as required by sections 22(2) and 22(3) of the Act, gives effect to the name alteration.
