On 3 September 2019, under section 94F(1)(a) of the Telecommunications Act 2001, the Commerce Commission (“Commission”) released a draft TSO cost calculation determination (“draft determination”). The draft determination sets out the amount payable by the Crown to Sprint International New Zealand for providing telecommunications relay services for the hearing impaired and speech impaired between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019.

The closing date for submissions on the draft determination is 10 September 2019 at 5.00pm.
