His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint
The Honourable Amy Juliet Adams
to the Office of Acting Attorney-General for the sole purpose of exercising the Attorney-General’s functions under the following legislative provisions:
- Section 4A of the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service Act 1969;
- section 5G of the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service Act 1969;
- section 19A of the Government Communications Security Bureau Act 2003;
- section 7A of the Intelligence and Security Committee Act 1996;
- section 20 of the Intelligence and Security Committee Act 1996;
- sections 22 and 25 of the Intelligence and Security Committee Act 1996;
- sections 28 and 29 of the Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security Act 1996; and
- section 7 of the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act 1990 (where a Bill specifically relates to the legislation governing the intelligence and security agencies or to their oversight legislation).
