In the matter of the Law Practitioners Act 1982
Pursuant to section 119 of the Law Practitioners Act
1982, notice is hereby given that on 28 April 2003, the
New Zealand Law Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal ordered as follows:
(a) That, pursuant to sections 112 (2) (a) and 113 of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, the name of Stuart Grant Hughes be struck off the Roll of Barristers and Solicitors of the High Court of New Zealand.
(b) That, pursuant to section 112 (2) (g) of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, the practitioner pay to the Wellington District Law Society costs of $3,563.37.
(c) That, pursuant to section 112 (g) of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, the practitioner pay the costs of the tribunal in the sum of $2,120.61.
