Notice of Disciplinary Action Taken by the Electrical Workers Registration Board

The Registrar of the Electrical Workers Registration Board ("the board"), having been directed by the board, in accordance with section 139 of the Electricity Act 1992, gives notice of the following registered electrical workers having been disciplined by the board under Part XI of the Electricity Act 1992, and the effect of the decision or order of the board:
Ronald Harry Newton, of Napier, has been found guilty of a disciplinary offence. He has been censured pursuant to section 127 (2) (h) of the Electricity Act 1992. Ronald Harry Newton has been ordered to pay a fine of five hundred dollars ($500), pursuant to section 127 (2) (g) of the Electricity Act 1992, and ordered to pay costs of seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750), pursuant to section 128 of the Electricity Act 1992. The fine and costs were to be paid by 15 May 2002.
Ralph Henry Carroll, of Auckland, has been found guilty of a disciplinary offence. He has had his electricians registration suspended, pursuant to section 127 (2) (c) of the Electricity Act 1992, until such time as Ralph Henry Carroll satisfactorily passes the electrician level regulation examination. Ralph Henry Carroll was ordered to pay costs of seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750). The costs were to be paid by 14 June 2002.
Gregory Paul Whyte, of Hamilton, has been found guilty of a disciplinary offence. He has been censured pursuant to section 127 (2) (h) of the Electricity Act 1992. Gregory Paul Whyte was ordered to pay costs of seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750), pursuant to section 128 of the Electricity Act 1992. The costs were to be paid by 26 July 2002.
