In the matter of the Law Practitioners Act 1982
Pursuant to section 119 of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, notice is hereby given that on 7 May 2001, the New Zealand Law Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal ordered as follows:
1. That the name of Martin Joseph Cameron be struck off the Roll of Barristers and Solicitors of the
High Court of New Zealand.
2. That the practitioner pay costs in favour of the Complaints Committee of the Waikato Bay of Plenty District Law Society in the sum of $20,000.00.
3. That the practitioner not pay any amount by way of costs in favour of the New Zealand Law Society.
4. That the interim suppression order of the practitioner's name and any particulars which might lead to his identification is cancelled.
