Notice of Application for Approval of a Scheme
Pursuant to Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957
Take notice that on Thursday, the 13th day of June 2002
at 9.30 a.m., the Board of New Life Church Hastings will apply to the High Court at Napier for orders approving
a scheme defining the objects and prescribing the rules
for administration of the Hastings Christian Community Trust.
1. The applicant seeks to vary the provisions of the trust by restoring the objects and administrative powers of the trust to those which applied when the trust was first incorporated in December 1981.
2. A copy of the proposed scheme, originating application and supporting affidavit may be inspected at the offices of Sainsbury, Logan & Williams, corner of Tennyson Street and Cathedral Lane, Napier, during the hours of business, 8.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
3. Any person desiring to oppose the scheme should give a written notice of his or her intention to do so to:
3.1 the Registrar of the High Court at Napier; and
3.2 Her Majesty's Attorney-General, care of Crown Law Office, 45 Pipitea Street (P.O. Box 5012), Thorndon, Wellington (Attention: M. A. Soper); and
3.3 New Life Church Hastings, care of Sainsbury, Logan & Williams, corner of Tennyson Street and Cathedral Lane (P.O. Box 41), Napier (Attention: S. J. Webster).
