Note: This is a solvent liquidation and the company is
in a very strong financial position. However, Supreme
Lime Limited is part of the Perry Group of companies
("the group") and the present structure does not meet the group's objectives. It was decided to liquidate Supreme Lime Limited and consolidate the group's limestone operations within another Perry Group company, Ultrafine Limestone Limited. Ultrafine Limestone Limited will change its name to Perry Lime Limited and it will operate the non-agricultural side of the group's limestone activities. Ultrafine Limestone Limited has entered into a joint
venture with Ravensdown Fertiliser Co-operative Limited and formed a 50/50 joint venture company, Supreme Ravensdown Limited, to grow the aglime business of both parties.
All creditors will be paid promptly in full.
In terms of ongoing relationships with Perry Lime Limited and Supreme Ravensdown Limited, these companies will be in touch with all parties concerned in the near future to formalise arrangements.
